Sex Criminals #1

Okay, don't get too excited. As far as I know, there's no LGBT content in Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky's otherwise amazing Sex Criminals; though, it could be argued that the whole idea is pretty queer (So I should have kept reading--see below). I'm really just here to post this:

Yep, Suzie totally banged Mr. Feeny before meeting Jon. I just needed that on the record.

Anyway, you should be reading Sex Criminals. It's absurdly sex positive for a mainstream comic--which is a good thing for everyone--and Fraction has a history of including queer characters in his works and handling them well.

I have such high hopes for this series.

Edit.  So...yeah.  In issue #3, series co-lead Jon reveals that he once had sex with a male classmate in his attempt to find out if there were others in the worlds capable of stopping time with their orgasms. He tries to pass it off as not a big deal, but his line, "I'm not gay as a going concern," seems to imply that this wasn't just a once-and-never-again sort of thing.  His description of the experience as "like a wild rumpus that go way, way out of hand" give me hope for more; I still haven't decided if I want the couple to do the whole monogamy-only thing.
