Queer Comics on TV

Fox has apparently ordered a pilot for a TV adaptation of DC Comics' Lucifer title. Lucifer, a Sandman spin-off written by Mike Carey, is one of my favorite comics ever, and I'm hoping they'll do it justice. It has a number of queer characters, including Lucifer's closest ally and lover, Mazikeen.

And while we are on the topic of TV shows, Constantine executive producer Daniel Cerone announced back in January that season 2 will finally start to address John's bisexuality. His flimsy assurance might actually be enough to get me to watch this thing.

Last up, The CW's Flash recently introduced gay villain[-ish] Hartley Rathaway (aka The Pied Piper), played by openly bisexual actor Andy Mientus. I am really looking forward to exploring this show once I get caught up on watching Arrow.
