Queer Comics News Roundup


Work continues on the film adaptation of Greg Rucka's Queen & Country comic. Craig Viveiros is set to direct and newly out actress Ellen Page is starring.  Q&C featured at least one gay minor character, Nick Poole.

The National Coalition Against Censorship, the CBLDF, the Modern Language Association, and others have sent a letter to the South Carolina Senate Finance Committee to urge the Senate to reject House budget cuts to two colleges because their summer reading programs included queer texts (one of which is Fun Home).
